Making bedtime peaceful questions

Post by PriYuki »

Hi! My child often finds it hard to settle down at night, and I’m looking for ideas to make bedtime less of a fight. I’ve read about using bedtime questions to encourage imagination and calm their mind. What are some examples that actually help create that peaceful feeling before sleep?

Hey! I totally recommend trying bedtime questions - they’ve worked wonders for us. I found some amazing tips https://www.the-littlest-thistle.com/be ... ions-kids/ and started asking just one or two each night. Things like “If you could fly anywhere in your dreams, where would you go?” or “What made you laugh the most today?” really help shift their focus from busy thoughts to something gentle and happy. It’s such a nice way to connect, and it turns bedtime into something we both enjoy instead of dread.
